There has been a slight change to the registration times for this year’s event. Here is the confirmed schedule for the evening:

We hope that the new registration times will suit better those swimmers who will be coming straight from work on the night of the swim.
There’s only one month left to this year’s Martin Duggan Memorial Swim and we’re really looking forward to it. There’s a slight pause on the improvement in the weather and increase in water temperatures but we’re hopeful that we’ll be back on track before too long. We’ve put together a map to inform you of the swim location/route, parking places and so on (click on the icons):
The weather is improving week after week at this stage and we hope that you are all enjoying the spring and putting your toes back in the rivers, lakes and seas as the open water swimming season draws nearer.
To encourage you in your training, we are very happy to announce that there will be four vouchers (€25 each) for the sports shop, The Edge Sports in Cork, to be won at the Martin Duggan Memorial Swim 2013. We would like to thank The Edge Sports for providing these prizes as sponsorship for the event. The Edge Sports is a very popular destination among many swimmers and other athletes and we hope that the winners will get good value out of their vouchers.
As well as prizes for the fastest swimmers, we have another big prize for the youngest swimmer to finish the swim on the day. That is the Martin Duggan Memorial Shield. The Duggan family kindly donated this prize to the event when it was started properly in the year 2009.
