There’s only one month left to this year’s Martin Duggan Memorial Swim and we’re really looking forward to it. There’s a slight pause on the improvement in the weather and increase in water temperatures but we’re hopeful that we’ll be back on track before too long. We’ve put together a map to inform you of the swim location/route, parking places and so on (click on the icons):

Entries open for MDMS 2013

We are very happy to announce that entries are now open for this year’s Martin Duggan Memorial Swim which will take place on Friday, 14 June. The swim will take place at the usual location, Fermoy Rowing Club on the River Blackwater, and will be 2 km in length. If you want to enter you can do so by following the instructions below (more information is available on our Entry page). Registration will be open from 17:30 to 18:30 on the day and the swim will start at 19:30. Keep an eye on this blog for updates…

How to Enter:

You can enter online or, if you prefer, on paper. If you would prefer to enter online, just click on the link below and you will be taken straight to our Active.com event page where you can enter on the spot.

If you would prefer to enter on paper, you can download the Entry Form, fill it out and post it (with the appropriate entry fee) to Mr. Owen O’Keefe, 3 Springfield, Fermoy, County Cork, Ireland or scan it and email it to blackwaterswim@gmail.com – don’t forget to include the Parental Consent Form if you will be aged 17 years or younger on the day of the swim! You will receive an email confirming your entry.
